Waterfront Golf Ventures Pty Ltd operates a pop-up golf activation on the Sydney waterfront under the name Harbour Shot — Sydney's Waterfront Hole-in-One Challenge. Members of the public step into a purpose-built tee enclosure and attempt a hole in one to a floating target green on the water, for the chance to win a cash prize of up to $10,000.

It is a short-format, walk-up experience: a participant takes a small number of shots, watches the ball fly out over the harbour, and either wins or doesn’t. The appeal is the setting as much as the prize.

The installation is temporary and staffed. It is deployed at a permitted waterfront site under agreement with the site owner and the relevant authorities, runs for a defined season, and is then removed. We do not operate a permanent venue. The first season is planned to run the full month of October 2026, operating 10am – 7pm, seven days a week.

Every session is supervised by trained staff. Play uses limited-flight balls from a controlled tee enclosure that fixes the direction of play, and the water in front of the tee is held as an exclusion zone for the duration of play.

Harbour Shot is in pre-launch, ahead of a planned October 2026 opening. The exact location has not been announced, no tickets are on sale, and no payments are taken through this website.
