About us
Waterfront Golf Ventures Pty Ltd is a Sydney company bringing new experiences to the heart of the CBD. The Harbour Shot is our floating hole-in-one challenge on Cockle Bay.
What we do
We build short, memorable things to do in places people already love. The Harbour Shot puts a golf tee on the Darling Harbour promenade and a green out on the water — anyone can book a bay or walk up, take a shot, and try for a hole in one.
How we operate
The installation is temporary and staffed. It is set up at a permitted waterfront site under agreement with the site owner and the relevant authorities, runs for a defined season, and is then removed. Season 1 runs 9 October – 6 November 2026, 10am – 7pm every day.
Every session is supervised by trained staff. Play is from a controlled tee enclosure that fixes the direction of play, using only the clubs and balls we supply, and the water in front of the tee is kept clear for the duration of play.
