How it works
Six bays, one floating green and a 90 m carry out over Cockle Bay. Here’s everything you need to know before you swing.
Your go
- Book a bay, or walk up. Online bookings run 10am – 6pm (5pm on Fridays). Or just come down while we’re open, 10am – 7pm every day.
- Pick your balls. Walk up for 3, 10 or 20 balls. For more, book a bay: up to 100 balls for up to 4 players.
- Take a bay. Our staff will set you up in one of our six bays with a club and balls. Everything is supplied.
- Aim for the green. Sink it and you win.

Bookings and cancellations
Bookings are taken online through Square and paid in full when you book. You can book up to an hour before your session. Bookings are covered by clauses 3.10 to 3.15 of our Participant Terms.
- Cancel 2 or more days before your session: full refund.
- Cancel the day before: 50% refund.
- On the day of your session, bookings can’t be cancelled or refunded.
If we’re running more than 30 minutes late for your session (boats and weather can cause delays), you can choose a full refund.
If you turn up 15 minutes late, we’ll do our best to fit you in, but we can’t guarantee you a spot.
The targets and prizes
The main hole: 90 m, $5,000. Every qualifying hole in one on the main hole wins $5,000, with one main-hole prize per person per season.
Two secondary targets. The green also carries two marked targets, wider than the cup. Stop your ball wholly inside one and you win a $50 voucher from a Darling Harbour precinct trader.

Questions
- Do I need to book?
- Not for up to 20 balls — just walk up. For more than 20, or to be sure of a bay, book online. 5 of our 6 bays can be booked; walk-ups get the rest, and any booked bay that’s free.
- How much does it cost?
- Walk up from $15, or book a bay from $99. See all prices.
- Can we come as a group?
- Yes. Each bay takes up to 4 players, sharing the balls. For a bigger group, book more than one bay.
- Can I bring my own clubs or balls?
- No. We supply the clubs and balls, and only ours can be used.
- Can kids play?
- Yes. Players 16 and over can play on their own; under 16s must be supervised by an adult. Every player must be able to swing a club safely, and our staff may pause or stop play if not.
- Is it accessible?
- Yes — the bays are wheelchair accessible.
- What if the weather turns?
- We close the bays when the wind makes play unsafe. Otherwise we stay open, rain or shine.
- Can I get food or a drink?
- We don’t serve food or drink, but there’s plenty around Darling Harbour.
- Can I win more than once?
- On the main hole, one $5,000 prize per person per season. Each secondary target can win you a voucher every time. Prize Rules apply.
